Event date
The observed, reported, measured, or estimated event date for an event, on the basis and date stated by the source.
Sources that carry it
47 sourcesGlobal event-level living dataset of reported political violence, demonstrations (including protests and riots), and selected strategic developments. Available through an authenticated API in JSON, CSV, and XML and through account-gated export/download surfaces, with arbitrary country, administrative-area, location, date, taxonomy, actor, and other filters. Event rows are revised as better information appears; row timestamp, response update metadata, and a coordinated deleted-event endpoint support refreshes, but ACLED no longer publishes formal dataset versions after Version 8. This Source excludes CAST forecasts, Trends risk intelligence, alerts, Explorer summaries, and other modeled products. It is not a verified property-loss record: property effects are explicit only where the taxonomy or notes report them.
NJDEP incident notifications involving aqueous film-forming or firefighting foam, obtained through a public-records request.
Standing commercial contributory cargo-theft intelligence membership product. Credentialed members can search CargoNet's pooled U.S. and Canadian incident/alert archive, use real-time charts and maps, query recent thefts, visualize up to two years of theft history around customized routes, and access weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual incident/trend reports. The database pools reports from law enforcement, insurers, transportation companies, manufacturers, retailers, and theft victims. The product supplies reported-incident intelligence and does not establish population-complete crime rates, calibrated prospective probabilities, customer shipment telemetry, or a lifted/recovery time unless explicitly reported.
Current public v3 OpenFEMA dataset of redacted National Flood Insurance Program claim transactions. FEMA states that the product is derived from the NFIP system of record, redacted to protect policyholder PII, updated approximately monthly, and available through a public API plus reusable CSV and Parquet full-file distributions. The catalogue proposal intentionally excludes granular location, household, property, financial, and record-id fields.
Commercial per-event CONUS flood-data product. Floodbase licenses daily event footprints showing flood location, extent, and vendor-described severity while an event develops, then delivers an event-summary dataset with maximum observed flooding and a daily time series. Buyers can purchase an available event on demand; files are delivered through ArcGIS Online, secure cloud storage, or an agreed integration. Internally generated hourly footprints are delivered as daily event data under the current offer.
GA oil/hazmat spill & release incident reports from the U.S. Coast Guard National Response Center (NRC) — FEDERAL SUBSTITUTE for Integration 101 (SPILLS/GA/ga_dnr), since GA EPD's state Emergency-Response 'Environmental Releases' DB is not openly bulk-available (query-only/internal). fetch.py downloads NRC's yearly XLSX workbooks (nrc.uscg.mil/FOIAFiles/CY<YY>.xlsx, CY1990–CY2025), reads INCIDENT_COMMONS, filters LOCATION_STATE='GA', derives decimal lat/lon from DMS → 19,679 incidents. conform.py maps ds_ address from LOCATION_STREET1/NEAREST_CITY/STATE/ZIP and ds_lat/lon from the derived coords; ds_SPILLS=true. Located mainly by city+county (ds_city 97.7%, ds_state 100%); ds_street 20.1% and ds_lat/lon 2.6%.
Open worldwide machine-coded news-event metadata beginning with the GDELT 2.0 raw stream on 2015-02-18. The coordinated product comprises the 61-field Events table and 16-field Mentions table, published as 15-minute tab-delimited ZIP files and queryable in Google BigQuery. Events encode two actors, a CAMEO action, three geographies, media-coverage measures, ingest time, and first source URL; Mentions encode each article mention, extraction confidence, article position, source identity, tone, and translation metadata. It is a media-derived event index, not a verified incident-observation database. Event-table legacy coverage measures are fixed to the first 15-minute update; later discussion is emitted as new Mentions rows rather than revisions to the Event row.
Event-level downloadable data file covering more than 200,000 domestic and transnational terrorist incidents worldwide from 1970 through 2020, with no incident file for 1993. The latest page citation is the 2022 release. Raw data are obtained after a brief active download form. Ordinary terms permit non-commercial research and analysis; commercial use requires an additional agreement. Collection stopped after partial 2021 work for lack of funding, so there is no promised current release cadence. START may correct records when new documentation appears and has no obligation to update.
Standing commercial browser/mobile subscription providing live and archived meteorologist-created hail, wind, and tornado maps. Public product material says maps show affected areas, hail size/intensity, impacted states/cities/ZIP codes, NOAA reports, and estimated affected structures. No public scalar response dictionary was found, so no Features are authored.
NHC's official post-storm best-track data product for Atlantic cyclones from 1851 and Northeast/North Central Pacific cyclones from 1949. Two basin files are delivery partitions of one HURDAT2 product. Records provide native six-hourly and selected asynoptic positions, status, winds, central pressure, wind radii, and landfall/peak identifiers.
Global commercial flood-event data product combining SAR observations, auxiliary data, algorithms, and machine learning. It publishes frequently updated event extent and post-peak maximum flood extent and depth at building level. Customers can browse and download deliverables in the ICEYE Solutions Suite Event Intelligence Hub, query deliverables through the ISS API, or receive the same product through partner integrations. This is observed/model-assisted event data, not a probabilistic hazard map.
Arizona subset of the National Response Center (NRC) incident-report archive, 1990-2025 = 6,933 oil/chemical/hazmat release reports. PROVIDER DIVERGENCE: Integration #97 is keyed to az_deq, but Arizona DEQ publishes no comprehensive public spill dataset (Hazardous Material Incident Logbook frozen Nov 2001; legacy.azdeq.gov blocked) and explicitly redirects post-2001 records to the federal NRC. Source owned by us_uscg_nrc and linked to the az_deq Integration. Built from per-year NRC workbooks (nrc.uscg.mil/FOIAFiles/CY<YY>.xlsx), INCIDENT_COMMONS sheet filtered to LOCATION_STATE='AZ'. Single-attribute (SPILLS). Address-described, coordinate-sparse: ds_street 81.8% (LOCATION_ADDRESS), ds_city 97%, ds_state=AZ, ds_lat/lon 3.2% (DMS-assembled) -> Passable on ds_street.

WVDEP Dedicated Tanks portal's Active and Closed LAST Events By County reports, combined by the verified integration. Records describe leaking aboveground-storage-tank cases, responsible parties, substances, tanks, waterways, capacity, case dates, and program indicators; the report address is the responsible party mailing address rather than the leak site.
South Carolina leaking-UST release records from public-records exports, enriched with facility addresses from confirmed-release and UST-registry records, at release grain.
All leaking underground storage tank incidents published by DC DOEE through the DC GIS feature layer, from historical records through the present. Each row represents a distinct case number and includes open, closed, no-further-action, administrative-closure, and related statuses; the live endpoint returned 1,952 records on 2026-07-13.
One subscription REST Weather API for historical, real-time, forecast, and climate data. Historical requests use the same product, endpoint grammar, authentication, scalar parameter catalogue, response version, and delivery formats as other Weather API requests; do not split a Historical endpoint into another Source. Requests support single points, point lists, lines, and grids worldwide. Public documentation proves historical dated requests but does not pin one universal archive start because availability depends on subscribed parameters and data sources.
Licensed high-definition probabilistic catastrophe model for terrorism risk. It covers the entire United States plus key cities in Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Türkiye, and the United Kingdom. Its stochastic event framework models conventional and CBRN attacks, occurrence probability and frequency, temporal/spatial interaction, secondary uncertainty, and property and workers' compensation losses. Risk Modeler/Intelligent Risk Platform are delivery surfaces; model versions and event sets stay within this Source; the deterministic Terrorism Scenario Model remains separate.
Statewide crash-event circumstances for the rolling 2021-2024 window. The public asset supplies no crash identifier and cannot be joined to the Vehicle asset.
Anonymized statewide individual-in-crash rows for the rolling 2021-2024 window. Published keys are database keys, not licence, plate, or personal identifiers.
Free annual full-file release of publicly reported U.S. fire incidents, distributed as zipped relational CSV tables with NFIRS coding documentation.
Integrated daily land-station climate dataset from more than 100,000 stations in 180 countries and territories. It supplies station-day temperature, precipitation, snowfall, snow depth, wind, weather-type, and per-datum attribute fields. NOAA provides station files, an all-stations archive, CDO, and the NCEI Access Data Service. Some non-U.S. WMO-contributed data may have commercial-use or re-export restrictions.
Global hourly and synoptic surface-observation product integrating more than 100 source formats into one ISD schema. It publishes station and observation identifiers, UTC timestamps, coordinates, temperature, wind, gust, precipitation, present-weather, and embedded quality codes through NCEI Access Data Service and bulk Global Hourly files.
Existing daily station-summary Source derived from ISD observations. Preserve its API and bulk-file access, add exact GSOD scalar fields beyond the existing minimum-temperature and precipitation fields, and clarify that wind is emitted in knots rather than converted mph. Some non-U.S. WMO-contributed data may have commercial-use or re-export restrictions.
Free governmental U.S. bulk CSV database of NWS-documented significant weather events. Event-detail and location files identify episodes/events, event type, begin/end time, reporting source, hail or wind magnitude and magnitude type, flood cause, and linked event locations. These are reported/certified event records, distinct from radar estimates.
Ongoing global historical database of significant volcanic eruptions from 4360 BC to present. An event qualifies if it caused fatalities, caused moderate damage (about USD 1 million or more), had VEI 6+, generated a tsunami, or was associated with a significant earthquake. HazEL emits event timing, volcano identity/location, VEI, fatality agents, direct eruption effects, combined associated effects, comments, and association IDs. It is not the complete GVP catalogue, a current-alert feed, or a prospective hazard model.
Oklahoma Corporation Commission Oil and Gas Conservation Division's statewide ArcGIS feature layer of oil and gas incidents, including complaint, investigation, enforcement, release, environmental-impact, violation, finding, and resolution details.
FDEP's statewide "Petroleum Contamination Monitoring (PCTS) Discharges from STCM" ArcGIS layer — the structured/queryable equivalent of FDEP's "Discharge Cleanup Summary" web report named in the Prediction Notes. Covers all storage-tank petroleum discharge/incident records tracked in the STCM database: 38,677 records as of 2026-07-13, across 27,800 distinct facilities. This layer is FDEP's full storage-tank contamination inventory — it is NOT exclusively scoped to underground tanks, and no FDEP field reliably distinguishes UST from AST discharges at the record level (ELIGIBILITY_PROGRAM is a funding-eligibility code, not a tank-type flag; FACILITY_TYPE doesn't cleanly split either, though ~92% of rows are UST-typical facility types like Retail Station and Fuel user/Non-retail). Fetched fully unfiltered; every row is marked ds_LUST=true per explicit developer confirmation, consistent with how the sibling ga_epd/de_dnrec/az_deq LUST Sources treat their state UST-cleanup registries as the LUST proxy. See the source .md for the full UST-vs-AST scoping discussion.
VA DEQ EDMA ArcGIS layer 104, "Petroleum Releases (Daily)" — one row per release case (combined UST+AST), keyed on composite (RST_ID, PCNUM). Full historical archive since program inception (98.4% Closed cases). Distinct from the sibling va_deq registration sources (registered_ust_facilities/registered_ast_facilities are tank registrations, not releases) and from the general spill dataset (va_deq__prep_pollution_reports).
EPA's PFAS Analytic Tools republishes National Response Center spill reports through the PAT_Spills ArcGIS layer. This integrated source filters Material_Involved for AFFF or FOAM and emits incident identifiers, dates, quantities, materials, narratives, responsible parties, causes, water impacts, raw and geocoded locations, and relative-location descriptors. Its conformed output adds normalized address and coordinate columns plus an AQUEOUS_FOAM_NRC indicator on every selected row.
Reported North Carolina sanitary sewer overflow and bypass incidents, with incident timing, location, released volume, receiving-water impact, cause, and resolution.
Authenticated commercial interactive lookup for historical natural-catastrophe data. External sign-up is offered; no reusable file, API, batch contract, current public schema, or current revision mechanics were verified.
NYSDEC Spill Incidents — the complete New York spill/release archive published on the state open-data portal (data.ny.gov Socrata dataset u44d-k5fk). 570,234 records: chemical and petroleum spills reported to NYSDEC under Article 12 of the Navigation Law, 6 NYCRR 613.8 (PBS) and 595.2 (CBS); spills active as of 1986-04-01 plus all reported since (some records to the late 1970s), current through the fetch date. Native NY source (provider ny_dec) — no provider divergence. Each record: spill number, facility name, street/locality/county/zip, DEC region, spill & received & close dates, contributing factor, source, material name/family, quantity/units, recovered. No coordinate columns.
Public Ohio EPA Emergency Response dataset of reported incidents since May 17, 2017, with spill site coordinates and reported and recovered product details. Reports are incidents as reported and are not necessarily confirmed spills.
Florida DEP State and Tribal Response Program (SRP) sites — 88 sites (closed + active), sourced as FL's voluntary-cleanup (VCP) inventory. FL has no standalone Voluntary Cleanup Program dataset; its voluntary-cleanup construct is the VCTC tax credit (drycleaner + brownfield sites, sourced separately; no public VCTC site list), so the closest formal FL bucket — the EPA CERCLA §128(a) State & Tribal Response Program — is used. Fetched from FDEP's ERIC Waste Cleanup layer (CLEANUP_SP/MapServer/8) filtered server-side to PROGRAM_TYPE='SRP'. Coords from point geometry (signed WGS84), NOT the unsigned DMS columns. ds_street 94.3% / ds_city 100% / ds_lat-lon 100% → Fit.
Coordinated collision, vehicle, and casualty record files for police-reported personal-injury collisions on public roads in Great Britain. Pinned to final validated 2025 data published 2026-07-30, with final series 1979-2025 and 2024-specification mappings. Northern Ireland, non-injury/unreported crashes, narratives, and ordered multi-event sequences are excluded.

The full report includes confirmed-release projects and clean or unconfirmed closures.
EPA's national UST Finder ArcGIS FeatureServer (Releases layer, item US_Underground_Storage_Tank_2019), server-side filtered to State='New Jersey' — 16,816 leaking underground storage tank (LUST) release records covering New Jersey's full release history regardless of status (4,672 Open, 12,144 No Further Action/closed). This is a NJ-filtered slice of EPA's UST Finder Releases dataset, not a source published directly by NJDEP; NJDEP's own DataMiner LUST portal was investigated first and abandoned due to an hCaptcha wall with no programmatic bypass. Note: this data has been verified to overlap byte-for-byte (identical LUST_ID sets) with the separately-scoped us_epa__ust_finder source, which draws from a newer-but-data-identical ArcGIS item (UST_Finder_Feature_Layer_2). Kept as a standalone single-attribute source per established developer precedent (Integrations 216/294) rather than folded into the multi-attribute source.
Commercial global Timeline API for buyer-selected addresses, partial addresses, coordinates, or US ZIP codes and date ranges. It returns historical daily and hourly records in JSON/CSV; paid plans document 50+ years of history, commercial use, downloads, API access, and multi-location request allowances.
Commercial version-2.0.1 API returning daily or hourly NOAA-reanalysis history for arbitrary latitude/longitude points, postal codes, DMAs, and OnPoint identifiers. Coverage is every landmass worldwide and up to 200 miles offshore; the public specification does not pin the earliest retained date.
Cumulative West Virginia subset of National Response Center (NRC) oil/HazMat spill & release incident reports, 1990–2025 (CY90–CY25 workbooks) = 10,477 rows. One row per reported incident. Federal substitute for the WV OES/EMD stream — see Notes.
