Health check endpoint and deployed build identifiers

GET /status

GET /status reports that Data Serve is running and identifies the deployed build. It needs no authentication and takes no parameters.

Field Type Description
status string OK when the service runs
git_sha string Deployed commit
git_derived_version string Version derived from that commit

Coverage

/status confirms that the process accepts requests. It does not call vendors or verify source availability. Use it for service health checks and deployed build diagnostics, not to decide whether to call /data.

Confirmation needed: Confirm the recommended polling interval before documenting one.
