Building occupancy certification history
What occupancy or completion certificates have authorities issued for this building, when were they issued, and what certificate type, recorded status, and dwelling-unit total or change is reported for each event?
The data that answers it
Ranked by fit · best firstThis official daily open DOB NOW index reports issued-certificate history from March 2021 onward for NYC buildings identified by BIN and street address, with BBL also emitted. It supplies certificate/application identifiers, request and issuance dates, raw issued status, filing type and sequence, and a reported dwelling-unit count. It supports bounded issuance history, not approved use, present legal occupancy, effective or expiration dates, or which certificate currently controls.
This official monthly open event table reports occupancy-certification events for published unrelated San Francisco building addresses: building-permit application, address, issue date, document type (Initial TCO, Amended TCO, or CFC), and the number of additional residential units certified. It answers a bounded portion of historical certification demand only: the table is intentionally incomplete, the unit measure is incremental rather than a building total, one permit can carry multiple addresses, and dates require validation.
